Mission Trip to Honduras
April 1st - 9th, 2011
During Spring Break, a team of students & adults went to Siguatepeque, Honduras. They worked and ministered with a local church and orphanage there, ran a VBS for over 100 kids, and did construction work at the orphanage/school.
Our school has again partnered for this trip with a ministry organization called LeaderTreks. They are focused on developing students' leadership skills through a combination of training, curriculum and service.
The team was led by Matthew & Rachael Neal and Mark & Charmaine Kosten.

Local Information
The team was in Siguatepeque, Honduras. During April, the climate there is typically warm and dry as they are in the middle of their annual dry season.
Honduras is in the Central Time Zone; however, the country does not observe daylight saving time. So the team was two hours behind us while there.
